I'm writing from the comforts of an apartment building in Toronto, where I've been spending the hiking offseason. Below was a video taken a week ago in Avignon, where a rare winter storm dumped 30cm of snow on the Papal city. Without any snow-removal machines, the city was brought to an absolute standstill for a few days. Keep in mind that it usually snows about once every ten years or so in the region...
